THE PROJECT

SUR Collective was created as a platform for South American music, artists and culture — not through a single format, but through an ecosystem.

SUR lives as a record label, a live event platform, an archive of recorded sets, and a space for artists to be discovered, represented and documented. Its first flagship is in Venezuela, but the ambition has always been larger: to build a cultural identity strong enough to travel.

Naomi developed the brand strategy, positioning, storytelling and creative system behind SUR, creating one clear universe capable of holding all of these expressions together.

02 / The Challenge

Build one brand that could exist in several worlds at once.

SUR needed to feel credible as a record label, magnetic as an event platform, culturally relevant as an archive, and strong enough to represent artists, without becoming 4 disconnected projects under the same name.

The challenge was not defining what SUR does.

It was defining what connects everything SUR does.

What We Did

Built the positioning of SUR as a cultural collective rather than a traditional nightlife or music brand

Created a brand architecture capable of holding SUR Records, events, live-set documentation, artist representation and future cultural initiatives under one clear identity

Developed a visual and verbal system that can shift between music, editorial content, events and artist storytelling while still feeling unmistakably SUR

Defined the cultural narrative around South American talent, with Venezuela serving as the first flagship and starting point for a broader regional vision

Created the creative direction for campaigns, event concepts, artist communications and audiovisual content

Built an archive mindset into the brand, treating recorded live sets not simply as content, but as documentation of a growing South American music movement

04 / The Result

SUR became a structure capable of doing more than producing events or releasing music.

Each expression now strengthens the next one: events create moments, live sets document them, the archive gives them permanence, SUR Records creates a home for music, and the collective gives artists a larger cultural context to belong to.

The result is a brand designed to grow across formats without losing its center.

One collective. Many expressions. One point of view.
